This is the second part of my Fall Trends series with Appleseed’s. If you read my last post you know that they’re a brand known for their classic, quality, yet affordable style. And if you’ve been following this blog since the beginning you know that those are all things I value and have been posting about for a while. And if we go way back you know that was one of the tenets of my book too.

I wrote about how a capsule wardrobe always ensured that I looked well dressed on a budget and more importantly it ensured that I didn’t stress over getting dressed. I felt more confident too because I believe that when you wear what you love and don’t have to fuss over it you feel better too.

One of the things that any good wardrobe needs are a few quality tees. A white tee-shirt is a no-brainer and will look good with pretty much anything but it does feel a little like spring/summer. A fun fall-inspired printed tee will serve the same purpose and add a little more joy and style to your look. This Paisley Printed Narrow V-Neck is a great choice to add as a wardrobe staple and the print is on-trend for fall. The fitted, yet comfortable fabric looks slimming and the narrow v makes it perfect for work or casual looks.

The great thing about a tee like this one is that it makes an excellent layering piece. You can wear it under a blazer or cardigan and the smooth fit will make your layered look seamless. As a work look, I’d wear it layered with a skirt or my favorite pants and add a classic loafer or a heel.

I love that it serves double duty as a great casual piece too. Here I am wearing it with a pair of Slimsation ankle jeans in medium denim and a pair of Navy Sperrys for a coffee date and a walk around downtown with one of my favorite girlfriends. And speaking of my friend, she was absolutely in love with my Classic Hobo bag. This is a perfect piece that will be a great accent for all of your fall looks.
