Fall Trends With Appleseed’s-Saturated Color

This month I’ll be doing a few collaborative posts with Appleseed’s– a longstanding brand known for its classic, affordable yet high-quality pieces, on easy ways to incorporate fall trends.

If you read my previous post on fall trends you know one of the things I was most excited about was saturated colors. While I love warm neutrals for fall I also love breaking up my looks with colorful staples. This ribbed crewneck sweater in fields of gold is a beautiful way to incorporate the fall trend with a classic piece that will be around for years. It comes in 12 colors that will all add a little warmth or a splash of color to your current wardrobe (see it here). It’s also a great layering piece as it is warm enough to wear on its own and not bulky so it would look great under your favorite fall topper. It’s also casual enough to wear with jeans (the way I’ve styled it here) or to wear with a pencil skirt and heels.

And speaking of heels, while they have always been my go-to, I am more interested in mixing it up after a year and a half of being mostly at home and walking around in Birkenstocks. I’ve also had lots of conversations recently with my friends who just aren’t eager to return to heels at all. These Plaid Sperry’s (another classic staple) are cuter than your average tennis shoe. And they’re a great way to embrace a fall print, add a little color, and stay comfortable and chic (here).

You can find my entire look here including my very comfy Slimsation Ankle Pants. These pants give a slimming and smoothing fit with shape-recovery fabric. I’m wearing them in medium denim but they come in 11 different colors too (see them here).

This look is part 1 of a 5 part series that will end in a fall capsule! Stay tuned.

Until Next post,
