There’s always some sort of fun National Day being celebrated via social media. Lipstick Day, Pie day, even Ice cream day! But when I heard National Girlfriends Day was coming I couldn’t help but get a little excited. I teamed up with my friends over at Chico’s to share their Girlfriend Jeans which I already owned and loved! As a matter of fact the fit is my absolute favorite and I have them in just about every style-cropped, straight, distressed, you name it.
So it was only fitting (see what I did there) that my favorite jeans would correlate with my new favorite National Day. I’ve written several posts about how important girlfriends are. You can read my latest post here.
Girlfriends Day is a day to celebrate those relationships we have with the women in our lives that help us feel comfortable, secure, and always supported! They’re the ones that add something special and help us keep it all together. They feel like our old faithful friend (even when they’re new) just like our favorite pair of jeans.
My friend Joni and I (pictured above) teamed up for a quick photo shoot where I introduced her to the Girlfriend Jean too because that’s what friends are for right? We share good things, good times, and good laughs, but we’re also there for the challenging times too, helping each other keep it all together!

I’m really grateful to have so many amazing women in my life and some of these friends span decades and some are new but feel like forever. If you’re one of them (and you probably are) I’d like to wish you a happy Girlfriends Day too!

Today I also encourage you to reach out to your girlfriends and wish them a happy National Girlfriend Day too! And, if you’re looking for a new best wardrobe friend you can check out the Chico’s Girlfriend Jean here. They’ve got So Slimming technology with the perfect amount of stretch (but they don’t stretch out too much) and they come in so many washes and styles. And yes, they even have petites! You can thank me later!
Until Next Post,
