How to Dress Like Victoria Ratliff from The White Lotus

Have you seen the finale of The White Lotus season 3? I won’t give out any spoilers in case you haven’t, but there were some funny (and strange) theories floating around the internet this time. My husband and I predicted the ending so it was a bit anticlimatic for us despite a few shocking moments peppered throughout the season, but I still love the way the show builds on its tension. It was also a feast for the eyes thanks to the gorgeous Thailand setting and impeccable resort wear. Today’s installment of How to Dress Like is about one of the most iconic characters from this season- Victoria Ratfliff, played by Parker Posey. Victoria, a guest at the White Lotus, is the matriarch of a wealthy family from North Carolina. She’s become a bit of a social media icon, and there are countless memes about her southern drawl and her love of the good life (and prescription meds). Victoria’s wardrobe is a masterclass in understated luxury, blending Southern elegance with resort chic. Here’s how you can channel her look:

In this scene Victoria is wearing a silk caftan by Jim Thompson. I’ve also linked a gorgeous investment piece by NicoBlu below. Here sunglasses were custom made by Michael Cory and General Eyewear, but I’ve linked a couple of similar pairs below. She’s also wearing a gold Rolex Day Date watch. This Michael Kors watch has a similar look for less.

In this scene Victoria wears an olive poplin dress from Banana Republic with a Swaine London Scarf. The dress is sold out but here is a similar one from Tuckernuck. She carries her Gucci Bamboo 1947 Top Handle bag throughout the season. I’ve linked a similar bag by Veronica Beard below.

Victoria wore this green peplum jumpsuit by Cynthia Rowley with a silk shawl by Jim Thompson and a lavish necklace by David Webb for an evening look. The jumpsuit is sold out but here is a similar one from Lilly Pulitzer. I’ve also linked a mixed stone necklace from J.Crew that is under $100.

She wore this striped cotton dress by Ganni for a spa day. It’s sold out but you can sign up for a back in stock notification for some sizes. Here is a similar dress.

Victoria looked stunning in this yacht scene in the Daje dress by Rachel Comey. This print is no longer available, but the dress is available in green. I’ve also linked some similar styles below.

If you’re a fan of vintage style nightgowns, you can get Victoria’s Eileen West gown for under $100. Here are two other styles from the brand.

Victoria Ratfliff’s style combines breezy midi dresses, caftans in rich fabrics, statement jumpsuits, and chic, minimal accessories (with a few statement pieces) to channel comfort and sophistication. By incorporating these elements, you can capture the essence of being effortlessly chic with a touch of Southern charm.

If you watched this season what did you think? Any other outfits or characters you’d like us to cover? I’m interested in tracking down a few of Piper’s dresses. Let us know what you think.

Xo,

Courtney

  1. I’m obsessed with this! Her looks were definitely my favorite. That LP peplum jumpsuit you listed is adorable and I might add one of those nightgowns too.

    1. Right?! She absolutely nailed it with every look—so glad you loved them too! That LP jumpsuit is such a good find, and I’m seriously tempted by the nightgowns too.
