How to Dress Like Meghan Markle: Outfits from With Love, Meghan

With so many new tv releases lately, the opportunities for fashion inspiration are picking up too. Have you seen Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series- With Love, Meghan? Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is one of my favorite fashion muses. I love her relaxed but elevated style. I credit her for inspiring my love of button down shirts with jeans and I always look at her photos for inspiration in curating a classic wardrobe. On her series she shares cooking and hostessing tips alongside her friends, with diy inpsiration for everything from making bath salts and candles to hosting a garden party. It’s a cozy homemaking show that’s also visually stunning, and even though its not specifically about fashion, her style is front and center too. If you’re a fan of Meghan’s gorgeous aesthetic, read on to discover some of my favorite pieces featured on the show and where to find them:

Meghan’s signature outfit formula is a relaxed button down and jeans. This button down shirt is currently sold out at Doen, but here is another striped shirt from the brand.

She also wears a Sézane Tomboy shirt in a dot print that is currently sold out, but there are several other Tomboy prints available including this pretty floral. Meghan pairs her Tomboy shirt with La Ligne jeans and Hermes Oz mules.

Thanks to Mindy Kaling, we were able to get a breakdown of Meghan’s outfit in this scene and it confirmed that Meghan is a master of high-low dressing. She paired a Loro Piana sweater with Zara pants (currently sold out, but here is a similar pair) and draped a Jenni Kayne sweater over her shoulders.

In this scene Meghan wears a classic blue button down by Anine Bing. The blue colorway is almost sold out, but it’s currently available in white on the Anine Bing website.

She also shows us how effortless and elegant monochromatic dressing can be with this Jcrew cashmere sweater shell and a linen pencil skirt by Posse. The exact sweater shell is sold out, but this one from Jcrew is similar.

This Doen sweater and silk skirt are another great example of monochromatic dressing. These exact pieces are sold out but here are two alternatives.

I also loved this mint linen blend button down by Zimmerman, which she paired with matching shorts. The Zimmerman shirt is almost sold out, but Eileen Fisher also makes a mint linen shirt, and Banana Republic has a short sleeve shirt with matching shorts.

Now let’s talk about a few of my favorite dresses from the series:

In this scene Meghan is wearing the Sézane Raquel dress. This color is sold out, but it’s currently available in white, black, and two denim shades. I actually just ordered this dress in the lighter denim shade and I’m excited to try it.

This ship print dress by Emilia Wickstead was a whimsical choice for a garden party. It’s no longer available, but these A-line dresses are also perfect for spring/summer events.

Polka dots are also classic and whimsical, and I loved that print on this Carolina Herrera dress. It’s almost sold out, but here is a gorgeous occasion dress from Ralph Lauren in a polka dot print and a dress with a similar silhouette from Veronica Beard.

Meghan also wore this stunning blue Freesia gown by Ulla Johnson. It’s currently available for preorder.

Those are some of my favorite looks from the series, but let me know if there’s anything you loved that you’d like me to track down. And if you haven’t seen the show yet, I’d highly recommend it. We’ll cover her amazing jewelry collection in a later post. Which outfits do you like? Let me know.

Xo,

Courtney
