Update: This giveaway is now closed. The winner is Sheila Ressel! Please email therealchiclife@gmail.com with your preferred email address to claim your prize. Thank you to everyone who entered. Check back on Tuesday for an exciting new giveaway!

Nine years ago, The Real Chic Life was born as a small corner of the internet to inspire women to look and feel their best. When Tonya launched The Real Chic Life, I held the roles of admiring daughter and editor. It’s been such a joy to see her inspiring others through her content, and recently to join her as a writer. We have so many wonderful things planned for the Real Chic Life and we’re so grateful you’re here.

From mental and physical self-care tips to style guides and everything in between, this journey has been a beautiful one. And as we reflect on the last nine years, we want to share a few of the top posts that our readers have loved:

1. How to Slay Every Day in 5 Easy Steps

2. Choosing Your Word of the Year for 2025

3. How to be Your Very Own Trophy Wife

(Click the links to revisit these favorites!)

But we’re not just here to reminisce—we’re also here to celebrate you!

To thank you for being a part of The Real Chic Life community, this month we’re hosting a self-care giveaway for a $100 Sephora gift card. Here’s how to enter:

  1. I started off this year by completing a 21 day no junk food challenge, as sort of a restart to the year. I am being more intentional about self-care, whether that is grabbing a few quiet moments at night, or meeting with friends on Wednesdays to go to the gym.

  5. Congratulations on reaching nine years on the blog. This is definitely a worthwhile labor of love. My self care goals are to be more focused on my total body both physically and mentally. Preparing my mind and body each day includes morning devotion, sipping on a tea cup and warm baths. 🛀

I’ve started walking in the morning, first thing, 30-40 minutes. It’s a great way to start the day! Movement and fresh air! Almost better than a cup of coffee!

  12. I try to make sure I get some alone time each day to collect my thoughts and de-stress. For example, each day on my lunch break I take a walk to get some air and exercise. At night, I sometimes enjoy a warm bath, after the kids are asleep. Just to have some time to myself.

  13. I love to go for daily walks to unwind. I got a walkpad last year which allows me to walk in the comfort of my home while watching a show or listening to music. This motivates me to exercise more and decompress from the day when I get home from work.
