I wanted to take some time out to thank you guys for reading the blog and being a part of the Real Chic Life community! I love engaging with my readers and I’m so happy you’re here.

The holidays are such a fun time but it’s easy to get caught up in taking care of others and forget to take care of yourself. I’m giving one of my readers a $100 Sephora gift card to treat yourself after the holidays. To enter make sure you’re following the blog via email (you can find the signup box on the right side of the page under recent posts) and then simply comment below and let me know one thing you’re looking forward to during the holidays (or one thing you’re looking forward to after the holidays are over).

If you enter you’re also agreeing to the official rules I’ve posted below. I’ll randomly select a winner from the comments on December 31 (make sure to check back to see if you won). Thanks for entering!

  1. I’m looking forward to seeing the beautiful decorations and spending time with my family and friends. I’m also looking forward to the delicious holiday drinks and holiday parties. Everyone is always so friendly and so haoot during Christmastime. Afterwards I’m looking to seeing what 2019 has to offer and marrying the man of my dreams! Thank you

  2. I’m really looking forward to the coziness of the holidays! I can’t wait to put up more decorations, start making Christmas foods and desserts, and cuddling up in a blanket watching a movie with snow falling. I have a lot of Christmas fantasies lol

  3. While serving overseas this year, we adopted a little girl, we didn’t plan on adopting, it just kind of happened in one of those weird twists of fate. We were already in love with her, then we found out we couldn’t have our own children and everything just clicked perfectly. So this year I am most excited about having our first family Christmas! She’s 5 and desperately believes in Santa! She actually started crying because she was so afraid she wouldn’t get to meet the real Santa this year. So we plan to take her to a special Christmas Market where we heard there was a very real Santa, real belly, real beard … I can’t wait to see her lose her mind!

  5. I am looking forward to putting a few decorations up, and plan to do that later today. I usually don’t decorate because I have a small apartment and decorations can cut in to the gift budget too much, but it’s been a hard year and I want to try and stay in the spirit. I found some nice wall decorations at the dollar store yesterday, and the walls are one place that have room! Thanks for the chance, I LOVE Sephora and they have some great bonus offers for the holidays that I have been eyeing. Merry Christmas!

  6. I’m looking forward to seeing my sister and her family for Christmas. They live across the country and we only get to see each other a couple of times a year.

  7. I’m looking forward to going to see the lights at Shore Acres state park with my family. It’s an amazing sight to see if you’re ever in Oregon. They really do it up for christmas!

  8. This is probably a cliche but I am looking forward to resting. Lots of rest. Maybe some binge movie watching then more rest.

  9. This may be odd but I am most looking forward to staying home with family! I am about to complete my first semester of college and studying business has been incredibly stressful! Three weeks would mean a lot to my mental health, especially being with my friends and family!
