We’ll be announcing an exciting new giveaway on Tuesday!
I’ve been trying to keep up with my reading list because let’s be honest—a good book is the escapist indulgence we all need sometimes. And now that’s we’ve entered the “Ber” months, it’s the perfect time to grab a warm blanket, light your favorite candle, and curl up with a book that feels like comfort in your hands.
Whether you love heartwarming stories, atmospheric romances, or just a touch of magic, here are some cozy fall reads that will make your evenings even more magical.
1. Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman
This modern classic is filled with family, love, and enchantment. A beautiful read for fall, especially if you want something that blends everyday life with magical realism.
A witty, modern romance that pairs bookish charm with heartfelt emotion in a small town setting. While most of the book takes place in August, it still has cozy vibes and makes for a great read any time of year.
3. The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna
I included this book on my summer reading list but I have to include it again because it’s one of the coziest books I’ve ever read and perfect for this season as well. This heartwarming and magical novel about a lonely witch who finds belonging and love is uplifting, and perfect for anyone who loves found-family stories. I’ll also be picking up Sangu Mandanna’s latest book- A Witch’s Guide to Magical Inkeeping, soon.
4. The Secret History by Donna Tartt
An atmospheric dark academia classic. Although it’s not a light story, the autumn campus setting, complex characters, and moody writing make it the definition of a fall read.
5. The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory
A delightful fake-dating romantic comedy with modern city flair and plenty of warm chemistry—great for breezy autumn nights.
6. Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez
A sweet and funny small-town romance with cozy settings, lovable characters, and the kind of feel-good warmth that pairs perfectly with a fall evening.
7. Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan
A beautifully written novella set in Ireland during the holiday season. Quiet, moving, and thought-provoking—perfect for cozying up on a chilly evening.
8. Before We Were Strangers by Renée Carlino
A second-chance romance that starts with a missed connection and unfolds into a heartfelt story about timing, love, and rediscovery. Perfect for curling up with on a rainy autumn afternoon.
9. Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood
This romance blends academia, witty banter, and slow-burn tension. It has that back-to-school, intellectual feel that pairs so well with fall.
10. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
This enchanting novel will transport you into a world of mystery, romance, and magic. Its dreamlike atmosphere makes it a perfect pick for long fall nights.
Fall reading is all about comfort, atmosphere, and just a little bit of magic. Whether you’re in the mood for swoony modern romances, dark academia, or heartwarming tales, these cozy fall books will make your season feel more indulgent. What are you currently reading? Let us know in the comments.
