I’ve been trying to keep up with my reading list because let’s be honest—a good book is the escapist indulgence we all need sometimes. And now that’s we’ve entered the “Ber” months, it’s the perfect time to grab a warm blanket, light your favorite candle, and curl up with a book that feels like comfort in your hands.

I included this book on my summer reading list but I have to include it again because it’s one of the coziest books I’ve ever read and perfect for this season as well. This heartwarming and magical novel about a lonely witch who finds belonging and love is uplifting, and perfect for anyone who loves found-family stories. I’ll also be picking up Sangu Mandanna’s latest book- A Witch’s Guide to Magical Inkeeping, soon.

4. The Secret History by Donna Tartt

An atmospheric dark academia classic. Although it’s not a light story, the autumn campus setting, complex characters, and moody writing make it the definition of a fall read.

5. The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory

A delightful fake-dating romantic comedy with modern city flair and plenty of warm chemistry—great for breezy autumn nights. 

6. Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez

A sweet and funny small-town romance with cozy settings, lovable characters, and the kind of feel-good warmth that pairs perfectly with a fall evening.

7. Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan

A beautifully written novella set in Ireland during the holiday season. Quiet, moving, and thought-provoking—perfect for cozying up on a chilly evening.
