The Real Chic Life

I recently binge watched Netflix’s new romantic comedy Nobody Wants This, and loved it! If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s about a woman who co-hosts a sex and dating podcast and a very newly single Rabbi who pursue a relationship despite their obvious lifestyle differences and meddling families. The show is equal parts sweet and hilarious, and such an enjoyable watch that I’m currently begging my husband to watch it with me so that I have an excuse to watch it again. I’m crossing my fingers for a season 2, and in the meantime I’ve been browsing some of the outfits from the show. The main character Joanne has a wardrobe that nails effortlessly cool style by mixing trendy pieces with timeless basics. Read on to discover the same (or similar) pieces featured on the show.

Joanne is a big fan of the classic jeans and nice top combo. This tried and true formula works well for most casual and slightly dressy occasions. Her off the shoulder bodysuit is a budget friendly find from Abercrombie & Fitch, and they have other flattering bodysuits this season.

Joanne’s outfits in Nobody Wants This are a great reminder that we can have fun with fashion but still look effortless by mixing high and low pieces and trendy items with classic wardrobe basics.
