Today I’m partnering with Appleseed’s– one of my go-to’s for classic, affordable staple items. If you’ve been around a while you know I took a short break from the blog to focus on a big project that I’ve been working on. I’m ecstatic to report that I have finished the toughest part of it and that I did so just in time for my favorite fashion season- fall!
You might also know that I’m a bit denim obsessed- meaning I love a good pair of jeans and I have quite a large collection. With that being said, I still add a few pairs each season to replace some of my older worn out ones. Jeans in a darker wash are definitely at the top of my fall staple list. For my partnership with Appleseed’s I tried two pairs to create the cozy chic fall looks pictured below.
The first pair I tried were the Dreamflex Comfort Waist Jeans. I found these to be extremely comfortable as you would guess from the name. What I loved about the comfort waist is that it was not only more comfortable than other cinched waists I’ve tried, but the front was a standard jean button and zip- making it look and feel more traditional. The cinched waist gave that same level of comfort that a pull on pair does, and the cinching ensured that it didn’t gap at the waist. My curvier girlfriends will understand how important that no gap feature is. I also love that they come in three lengths. I’m wearing the petite.

Another staple item is a striped tee. I love them for both spring and fall. This Simply Stripes Long Sleeve Tee will replace my short sleeve spring one. You just can’t go wrong with a classic stripe. I also love a long open front cardigan. The one pictured above, in a vibrant red violet hue is perfect for fall. Layering is synonymous with dressing for fall.

The second pair I tried was the Everstretch 5 Pocket Jeans. I really loved these and think they looked as good as some of the designer brands I’ve tried! They elongated my legs and had the perfect amount of stretch for a curvier figure. They come in three lengths as well and of course the petite are pictured here.

Another fall staple item for me is a turtleneck and this one in berry is a standout. The color is a pretty take on a fall pink hue and I think this color would look great against almost any complexion. The material is soft and feels lux. It’s worth every penny!

I also chose another layering option and since I’m a little obsessed with the berry color I chose the Woman’s Boiled Wool Jacket to add a pretty outer layer too.

This is the perfect month to check out Appleseed’s and add a few chic staples to your wardrobe too and while you’re there please check out the Limited Edition Breast Cancer Awareness Scarf!
