This is part two of my Essential Spring Pieces With Appleseed’s collaboration. This is a sponsored post but as usual, all opinions are my own.
If you caught my last post you saw that I styled the Classic Wool Blazer in navy with a buttercup tee and midi skirt for a cute dressy chic look. If you missed it you can see it here. Today I’m going to share an elevated casual chic look.
A blazer like this Classic Wool Blazer is a versatile must-have for me. It comes in 4 colors but I love navy for this time of year. Navy is black’s chicer sister in my opinion and perfect for spring. I love the light wool fabric with just enough stretch to make it really comfortable too.
One of my goals here is to always show you how you can do more with less. I’ve been an advocate of a capsule wardrobe for years and while my wardrobe has expanded slightly, the idea of keeping the focus on versatile staples so that I can have a streamlined working wardrobe is still the goal.

Today I’m wearing it with a pretty floral print shirt. It’s also no-iron (major bonus points) and the perfect spring update to your favorite white button-down. Add a pair of your fave jeans or a cool pair of chinos like these and you’ve instantly elevated your casual style.
As you have probably heard me say before, dressing in layers is the key to spring fashion. This chic blazer, floral top, and white bottoms add up to the quintessential spring look. And as usual, I’ve selected staple pieces that will go the extra mile.
I’d wear this look on casual Friday or any spring day while I’m out and about. All of these pieces go with several other items I already have in my wardrobe which is always #goals for me.
And in case you missed the cute crossbody bag last time you can see it here. This is a cute spring accessory that will take you right through summer too!
I’d love to hear what you think of this casual chic look and feel free to share your must-have spring staple pieces too! I love hearing from you!
Until next post,
Xo Tonya Parker
So chic Tonya! I went to browse, but was actually in the market for some new pajamas – the seersucker capri set was so cute, I ordered! Didn’t even know Appleseed’s carried such cute selections! ox

Your outfit looks so casual but so polished! Navy is my go-to neutral for spring so I’m looking for high-waisted pants, an a-line dress, and a skirt in navy to replace some of my basics that are now outdated. Xo Nipa
