BodyWithSoul By Crepe Erase ®

I don’t know about you but I get so excited when an opportunity aligns with my perspective. When Crepe Erase reached out asking if I wanted to be a part of their campaign highlighting age positivity it was a definite yes from me. The idea that as we age we’re supposed to just fade into the background never sat well with me. If you have been following along you know that the idea of embracing Joy over 40 has been a foundational tenant of mine.

You may know a little about Crepe Erase as a skincare collection but I hope that after reading this you will not only know about their skincare collection that features a two-step system designed to target crepey skin but that you will know a little more about their why too.

Let’s start with the why– #BodyWithSoul is a new inspiring campaign led by actress Jane Seymour. You may remember her from numerous films or television shows including Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman but as a comedy lover myself, I couldn’t get enough of her character in Wedding Crashers. Jane along with Crepe Erase (and the other lovely ladies joining the movement) are aiming to encourage body and age positivity by helping women feel confident in their skin, proud of their bodies, delighted by the things they have accomplished, and excited about what they are still accomplishing!

This leads me to the what Crepe Erase is a two-step system that is designed to leave your skin hydrated and plumped, and ultimately helps to visibly diminish those fine lines we refer to as crepey skin. I have been a long-time believer that when we look good we feel good too. And while looking good means different things to different people, I think most of us want hydrated, plump-looking skin.

Here’s what happened when I tried it– I started with the Body Smoothing Pre-Treatment which feels like gentle exfoliation. It uses a blend of gentle exfoliators to remove dull surface layers and uncover smoother, softer, radiant looking skin. It left the skin on my body feeling the way my face does when using a gentle scrub. And it ultimately does the same thing, which is to prepare the skin for the next step. Step two was using the Crepe Erase Advanced Body Repair Treatment. This is their most advanced formula. It contains their exclusive TruFirm® Complex (as does the pre-treatment), and it contains their signature 9 Super Hydrators. The cream itself is lighter than I expected. It isn’t overly fragrant but it does have a scent. I actually really love the fragrance because it’s light and airy, and while it isn’t a substitute for a perfume I do feel like I smell great after using it, which is more practical right now anyway. But more importantly, it does what it says it does: it plumps and hydrates the skin leaving it looking smoother and firmer. I don’t have a lot of crepey areas yet at 47, but I certainly have areas that are drier and starting to show signs of aging. I’ll be honest I like using it more than I ever imagined I would. I am reaching for this cream as a part of my daily routine. The other night I slathered it on my feet before bedtime, put on a pair of socks, and woke up feeling like I’d had the most amazing spa pedicure! That little tip came courtesy of Jane Seymour. I believe that Crepe Erase is a great product for complete body hydration and I’m using it everywhere except my face right now.

As you can see the product itself gets high marks from me! I do get an opportunity to try pretty amazing products for free quite a bit and while I love sharing those with you, I’m also very excited to be a part of the #BodyWithSoul movement! One part of the campaign that I particularly love is that the sign you see pictured above was my very own motto- Embrace Joy at Every Age! I based it on the idea that while I love products like Crepe Erase that help me look my best- I also like engaging in activities that help me feel my best and my penchant for joy helps with that too!

I’d love to hear what your #BodyWithSoul Motto is, and what you do to keep that motto going too!

Until next post,
