Essential Spring Pieces With Appleseed’s

This post is part one of a three-part sponsored collaboration with Appleseed’s. I absolutely love these styling posts and I hope you enjoy them too.

One of my closet staples is always a good blazer. In fact, if you caught my closet share in my Instagram stories you know I have a whole rack of blazers and jackets. I prefer a minimal closet with high-quality, versatile pieces so having a lot of anything is big for me.

I love jackets because they easily switch up and elevate your look and layers are perfect for this time of year. Though if you caught that aforementioned closet share you know I keep my blazer on hand all year. Indoor places are usually chilly no matter what the temps are like outside.

For the sake of this three-part series, I’m going to style this blazer three different ways so that you can see how having one in a very versatile color can go the wardrobe distance so to speak.

I’m wearing the Appleseed’s Classic Wool Blazer in Navy. You have probably heard me mention Appleseed’s before if you’re a frequent reader. They’re known for their classic, quality pieces that won’t break the bank. Those qualities all get high marks from me when selecting staple pieces. While trend pieces are fun, I’m a classic girl at heart. I might throw in a trendy piece every now and then but when I’m building my wardrobe I choose pieces like this one.

This Classic Wool Blazer is surprisingly lightweight, which I love for this time of year. It’s 98% wool but it also has a little Lycra which makes it not so stiff and allows it to move with you. It’s also fully lined. I love clothes that feel good too! The Classic Blazer also has beautiful, jewelry quality gold crest buttons that give it a lux look and the Navy color just feels right for this time of year. I’m always looking for a nautical feel. It also comes in camel and black, which are my other favorite neutral choices. And it’s available in red, which is an honorary neutral (or staple color) if you ask me.

For a look that could take me from weekend brunch right into the office on any weekday I chose their Elbow-Sleeve Tee. I loved the Buttercup color and even managed to get a really nice compliment from my younger millennial daughter. I paired it with the Harbor Breeze Midi Skirt- making it fun but still professional. The blazer ties it all together to give me an elevated look. No matter where I’m headed in this full Appleseed’s look, I feel like a woman who knows what she likes and more importantly what she wants!

I can’t wait to style this blazer again in my next post. I’d love to hear what you think about this outfit and if you use blazers to complement or elevate your looks too.

P.S. I’ve also linked that cute Magid Color-Blocked Straw Crossbody Bag for you!

Until Next Post,
