My Full Circle Moment With Pandora Jewelry and a Holiday Gift Guide
This is a sponsored post
If you have been following along with me on Instagram you probably saw my big reveal. Last week I was so excited because the big secret I had been keeping could finally be shared with all of you. I had the amazing opportunity to be featured along with two other O Mag Insiders in a lovely holiday jewelry ad which can be found in the December issue of O, The Oprah Magazine.
Crazy right? When I received the news that I had been selected for a jewelry ad feature, I couldn’t believe it either but what was really cool was that it was for PANDORA.
Let me share a little about my love affair with PANDORA Jewelry. When I first discovered the brand I remember sharing with my then boyfriend (now husband), that I was intrigued by the charm bracelet concept. I liked the overall idea of a charm bracelet and have purchased a few pre-filled ones in the past, but I loved the idea of customizing my bracelet to tell my story. Initially the boyfriend wasn’t sold. I think he thought it would be a fad. To be fair a few other jewelry lines have come and gone but I knew this was the real deal. I have this knack for knowing when something is going to be a hit. I should probably use that super power for something like the stock market but finding high quality, reasonably priced, beautiful jewelry is a pretty good use of this ability too right?
A New Love Affair
Anyhow, shortly after that I took a vacation with my youngest daughter to Florida and while doing a little shopping we happened upon a PANDORA store. I decided right then and there that I was going to commemorate that trip with a bracelet and charm. I came home with a beautiful Iconic Silver Charm bracelet and a sunshine charm. After that trip the boyfriend (now husband) got on board and starting buying charms too. He’s also pretty protective of the bracelet and even reminded me to put it in our safe when I left it out on the counter during an international trip. I think he loves the bracelet as much as I do now. I’ve received charms for every holiday from Mother’s Day to Christmas and we usually pick up a charm or two when we travel. The latest additions were from my Seattle Trip this summer.
Now We’re Full Circle
I now have a collection that includes earrings, necklaces and bracelets. And, I’ve also given bracelets, charms, and other jewelry items to my daughters, my mom and even to good friends. I love sharing the gift of PANDORA. If you are also looking for gift ideas here’s my PANDORA Holiday Gift Guide
This beautiful piece allows you to personalize it with tiny charms that fit inside, allowing mom to proudly display her memories close to her heart when she’s wearing this floating necklace.
This gorgeous sparkling bow bracelet is sure to be a hit with tweens, teens and young adults
I love that these two rings are stackable and reminiscent of the old friendship necklace from grade school. Each ring can be worn separately or placed together like a puzzle to make a complete full heart. Give one to the sister-from-another-mister who completes you and keep one for yourself.
Happily Ever After
One of the things I love most about jewelry is that it can be passed down from generation to generation. When my father passed away this spring I received his beautiful gold watch with a leather strap. I hope my future granddaughter rocks pieces from my PANDORA Jewelry collection one day with the same pride and love that I feel when I wear my dad’s watch.
So now I hope you understand my love affair with PANDORA Jewelry and why I couldn’t have been more pleased when I got that email saying I would get a chance to work with one of my favorite companies. Here are a few out-take photos that show just how much fun we had on set. We really had a blast with the entire crew and we are so pleased with the final result. Hope you have a chance to pick up your December copy of O, The Oprah Magazine soon. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Until Next Post,
